Nordmin Engineering Ltd. is presently looking to add to our team and is accepting applications from qualified candidates for the following position:
MECHANICAL DESIGNER
JOB SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, with experience developing detailed engineering drawings. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to create innovative solutions that meet project requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop detailed mechanical designs and 3D models using drafting software
- Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to refine design concepts.
- Make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations and client specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Mechanical Engineering Technician or Technology graduate or equivalent.
- Experience working with Revit modeling.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
