MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN

 

JOB SUMMARY

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, the candidate will have the opportunity to offer support to our team of experienced engineers, working on projects at all stages from conceptual to construction. They will work on diverse projects, gaining valuable insights and skills under the guidance of licensed engineers.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in preparing the plans, calculations, and designs of mechanical systems and components.
  • Collaborate with other Design Engineers and project teams to develop innovative solutions for multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Prepare technical specifications for equipment procurement and installation.
  • Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Support technologists and engineers in conducting site visits and assessments.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s of Engineering or Science degree, majoring in Mechanical
  • Strong academic background in mechanical engineering principles
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Inventor)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world engineering projects.
  • Prior internship or relevant work experience is considered an asset.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft office suite.
